Post-Doctoral Fellowship course:

Postdoctoral certificate course in Apheresis has been started in the year 2019 with an intake of 1 student per year. 

The department also conducts training for DM residents of Medical Oncology department.

Postgraduate courses:

MD in Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion Medicine

MD course in Transfusion Medicine and Immunohematology began in 2009. The current intake of this course is 2 candidates per 6 months. All the alumni from these courses are well placed.

We also train MD students from Department of Pathology.

Undergraduate courses:

BSc AHS (MLT in Blood banking) course was started in 2015-16 with an intake of 4 students per year.  From 2021, the intake has been increased to 5 students per year.

We also conduct theory classes and practical demonstration to MBBS, BSc (MLT), BSc (Nursing) students.

Certificate course in Phlebotomy

A certificate course in Phlebotomy has been started from the year 2019 with an intake of 8 students per year.

Besides, we also conduct continuing medical education and Donor awareness programs, and workshops for participants from elsewhere in the country.
