The Mch Surgical Oncology course was started in 2013 -14 with an annual intake of two candidates. There is an additional intake of one candidate (under sponsored category) every year since January 2019. They are selected through Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test.

The residents are provided with an overall exposure to Surgical Oncology and allied specialties, both surgical and non-surgical.
