Website Unit

The Website Unit manages both the Intranet and Internet websites of JIPMER. The team ensures that all online information is accurate, updated and useful for patients, students, staff and the general public.

The Website Committee was first formed in March 2022 to oversee the functioningand improvement of JIPMER’s digital platforms : Constitution of Website Committee (March 2022)

Website Committee Overview

The Website Committee oversees the quality, accuracy and regular updates of the JIPMER website. Since its formation, the committee has conducted 23 website audit meetings with Website Nodal Officers from all departments. These meetings are held at regular intervals to review and improve website content and information.

Role and Activities

  • Reviewing website content regularly.
  • Coordinating with all departments for timely updates.
  • Ensuring information is accurate, clear and helpful to the public.
  • Improving layout, presentation and user experience.
  • Adopting new technologies to make the website more interactive and accessible.
  • Conducting periodic website review meetings (20 meetings completed).
