Biomedical Engineering Divison

Background Information:

The Biomedical Engineer post sanctioned in the year 2009. Later, when the Institute underwent expansion, the Biomedical Engineering Division was established separately and commissioned in the basement of Women and Children Hospital in December 2013. The division has sanctioned technical personnel of two Biomedical Engineers, three Multi-task staff qualified in Biomedical/Instrumentation Engineering/Diploma in Material Management and a storekeeper. Further, two more staffs such as the Technical Assistant (Electronics) and Electronic Assistant (Central Workshop) also posted in division to look after the medical equipment service in management of COVID pandemic.
