Dr Natarajan V, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, JIPMER, Puducherry received the Dr. P. Raghurami Reddy Award for the best research paper at the 57th Annual Conference of the Indian Psychiatry Society South Zonal Branch held between 18th-20th October 2024, at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru. He presented his paper titled “Publication of studies registered in Clinical Trials Registry of India: An audit of mood disorder research protocols from 2009-2019” which he co-authored with Professor Vikas Menon, Department of Psychiatry, JIPMER.

Dr Pragya Kumari, Final Year Junior Resident, Department of Psychiatry won the Runner-up position in the Dr Saadgi Jagawat Memorial Award for Best Paper Presentation for lady residents at ADDICON 2024, held from 17th to 19th October 2024 at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. She presented her dissertation work titled "Biochemical correlates of morbid jealousy in alcohol dependence“ which was done under the guidance of Dr Balaji Bharadwaj, Additional Professor, Department of Psychiatry and co-guide Dr Medha R., Professor, Department of Biochemistry.
