Dr Subahani Shaik, final year resident, has won the prestigious Dr V Balan award for best paper by a postgraduate trainee at the recently held state level conference of the Tamil Nadu branch of the Indian Psychiatric Society (TANPSYCON2014) on 26-27th July, 2014 at Trichy.

Dr Vivek Arun Kumar, second year resident, has won the first runner up at the Psychiatry Quiz for Post Graduates conducted by the Tamil Nadu branch of the Indian Psychiatric Society (TANPSYCON2014) on 26-27th July, 2014 at Trichy. The event drew wide participation from psychiatry residents belonging to different medical colleges in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.
