Dr. Vikram Kate, Professor of General & Gastrointestinal Surgery, was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of The Royal College of the Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFSTEd.) by the President and the Council of the College on July 4 2014. He will receive the MFST Ed.-Diploma at the Diploma Ceremony to be held in 2015. He is a Senior Fellow of the Royal Colleges (FRCS Ed., FRCS Eng., FRCS Glasg.) and Intercollegiate M.R.C.S. Examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons for several years.
