Dr. Bahubali Gane, PhD scholar in the Department of Pediatrics has won the best oral presentation Award for the paper entitled "Effect of therapeutic hypothermia on DNA damage and neurodevelopmental outcome among term neonates with perinatal asphyxia: a Randomised Controlled Trial" at the International Neonatology Association Conference -2014, Valencia, Spain (3^rd to 5^th April 2014). The paper was co-authored by Vishnu Bhat, Nandakumar S, Ramachandra Rao, Adhisivam B and Harichandrakumar KT.
