The Department runs a regular teaching program for postgraduates students on all weekdays (3.30 pm – 5.00 pm), which includes journal clubs, interesting case discussions, topic reviews, and clinical case discussions. Formative assessment of the postgraduate students is performed. A multidimensional review of the postgraduate students’ performance is done every 4 months, and the students are given feedback on their performance. The progress of their dissertations is also periodically assessed.
M.B.,B.S. - 116 students per batch Students receive bedside training in clinical methods in medicine for a total period of – weeks, split over the 3rd to 9th semesters of study. After clearing the terminal examination, they undergo supervised, hands-on training as interns for a period of 6 weeks in the Department.
