The Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care

Undergraduate Program- The department provides didactic lectures on basic topics in anaesthesia to fifth semester students

Post graduate Program –Every year a total of 18 seats are available for MD Anaesthesiology course in two batches. This  3 year program includes posting in various surgical specialities and critical care and emergency cases. The academic schedule includes seminar, case presentation, journal club and review meet.

DM Cardiac anesthesia course with one seat per year was started since June 2017

Post doctorate fellowship courses in Cardiac & Neuroanaesthesia and in Critical Care with four seats each per year have been running since 2013.

Allied course:  The department also started a three year  Bsc course in Anaesthesia technology since 2015. The department also provides training to emergency medical technicians and nursing students.

BCLS/ACLS training is provided by the department
